Working with Rosie has been incredibly inspiring. With an ever-changing schedule in an often very hectic industry, it’s easy to forget to prioritize your health. Rosie has the unique ability to shake up your day-to-day life and make you want to make healthy changes. 

She taught me how to integrate fun, challenging workouts into my weeks and I quickly saw the positive effects of that both physically and mentally. She helps you achieve the physical goals you set for yourself – ones that perhaps you never imagined you’d have the ability to reach. For some people it’s running a marathon, for me personally, it was being able to do 10 push-ups successfully (baby steps, people!) She helped make me see that working out can be enjoyable and rewarding and that it feels really good to make time to stay in shape as it absolutely changes your life positively over all.

The summer of 2013, I was watching my mother struggle with Osteoarthritis and it was that, which made me realize I needed to get into shape, get stronger, flexible and build endurance. 

Rosie came highly recommended as a personal trainer. For an entire year I trained with her one to two times a week in my home. Her training program was exceptional.  No two training sessions were alike.  As a result of the weight loss, not only have I increased my energy levels, but my clothes fit better too.

It’s been almost  1 year I have joined Ironstone Fitness, the best thing I have ever done for myself. I’m a runner, but wanted something to compliment my running and wanted to build some muscle.

What started out as a prep for my Spartan race where I was participating in Rosie’s boot camp class and then with some outdoor training and hill climbing for Spartan, I just fell in love with her high energy feeling.  I  loved the results I was seeing.  Rosie is truly amazing, her workouts target all the muscle groups in your body.  No limit, she pushes you where you have never gone before, her work out is different and never the same.

When I think of Rosie, she means “NO STOPPING” keep going and “YOU CAN DO IT”,  “BELIEVE IN YOURSELF” and as ball of high positive energy.  I have gone down 2 dress sizes, feel more toned and can run faster, all thanks goes to Rosie.  I’m a Rosie addict now….

Her professionalism and commitment to her own fitness level speaks volumes…and she attempts to pass this along to her students. I came to Rosie last Fall. I’m 67 years old and look pretty fit. Been doing weights and elliptical (or equivalent) for decades.

Thought I was in pretty good shape but was facing the on-set of modest love handles that come with age and some bad eating habits. Rosie has introduced me to a whole level of total body fitness, particularly in my core area, leg strength and my breathing.

I’ve lost the 10 pounds , which was my goal, and am more fit everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, These workouts are vigorous and challenging. But the benefits are tremendous and I look forward to each session.

Ironstone Fitness has helped me find my way back to the love of being active and eating healthy again. Like many working mothers, I have a tough time scheduling in my workouts and was getting tired of the gym.

A friend recommended Ironstone’s 6 week Challenge last November. By Christmas, I lost 15 lbs and over 11 inches. The challenge worked for me – it was short, easy to follow and I saw the results almost immediately. I joined the 12 WEEK CHALLENGE with the goal of losing 10 lbs before our cruise in December. We were given an individualized nutrition plan which never left me starving. At Ironstone Fitness, working out with the members who have the same goals, is very motivating. With never-ending encouragement and motivation from the coaches Rosie and Shelley, I am very happy with what I achieved after the Challenge. I lost 15 lbs and 5 inches around the waist. I gained strength, muscles and my confidence boosted. I went way beyond my comfort zone and wore a 2 piece swim suit with no cover ups during our cruise. I was gutsy enough to post my pictures on social media.

The best thing I’ve ever done for myself is become a member of ironstone fitness. I knew, from training with Rosie a few years ago, that after having a baby and gaining a lot of weight there was only one gym for me. I made the choice to put my health first and joined the gym I knew would get me the results I wanted, and it didn’t disappoint. After only being a member for a couple of months I had lost 30 pounds!

In September I decided to really go for it and I joined the 12 week challenge. I wanted to keep myself accountable and not lose the results I had already achieved. The 12 week challenge was an amazing experience, I have done some similar challenges in the past but nothing compared to this. Our coaches were incredible, supportive, inspirational, positive, challenging and most of all they actually cared about our goals!!

They were there to help is whenever we needed them no matter how small the reason. They pushed us in our workouts And helped us navigate our nutrition. They are just the best. The workouts were hard but awesome and energizing, the nutrition plan we were given was customized for us and our likes/dislikes.

My results speak for themselves I lost 47 pounds on the 12 week challenge!! I feel like I am in the best shape ever and ready to take on anything ! I am so thankful for this gym , the coaches and the other members who inspire me every day!

I was never overweight, I considered myself pretty fit and was working out a lot for several years. My goal was to be more toned and lose that stubborn belly fat that never seems to go away. With this program the coaches incorporated a lot of the foods I was eating, making it an easy transition.

Unlike other programs we were encouraged to eat good balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. The workouts were tough but really geared for strength building. The coaches were always available to adjust your program whether it was your nutrition or exercises, depending on your progress. They were always encouraging, but pushing you to go further.

I loved the nutrition because I felt I was able to eat things I enjoyed, I didn’t feel deprived or hungry. Even though my goal was not to lose weight, but tone up, I ended up losing 10 lbs, and 2 inches from my waist, belly and hips.
I am proud of myself for completing this challenge and meeting and exceeding my goals. I feel stronger physically and mentally. I’m grateful for Rosie and Shelley’s guidance through this process!

I would definitely recommend this for anyone ready to make an investment in themselves!

I absolutely loved the Ironstone Fall 2017 12 Week Challenge! Tier two of the 12 week challenge was perfect for me, because I workout several times a week, my body required a more intense challenge to kick it into gear!

Rosie knows how to push me to achieve goals I didn’t think I could get to – her encouragement and constant text messages kept me on the straight and narrow! The nutrition was completely on pointe, I found it easy enough to stick to my daily plan, plenty of food to get me through the day – in fact some days found it hard to get all my protein in!

The workouts were not easy, but so satisfying and after 4 or 5 weeks on the original plan, they changed it up to challenge us some more. I am so happy with my muscle definition and plan on continuing with the extended program so that I can get even stronger.

My total weight loss was 10 pounds with over 12 inches lost overall. I would highly recommend Ironstone Fitness for both the everyday gym experience and the wonderful challenges that they put together for their members. I have made such strong friendships with my workout buddies – the experience is priceless!

Meeting Rosie and making the decision to join the Ironstone Fitness family back in June 2017 was the best decision I have made thus far in my fitness journey. I had been working out 4-5 days a week for about 2 years and was looking for a change. I had the desire for the next step and to see just how far I could push myself to be the best me that I could be by the age of 50.

Well I certainly made the right decision choosing Ironstone. The knowledge, professionalism and support is top notch! The bootcamp class options are unique whether you are in the mood for a hardcore kick boxing class, a bootcamp style, or a combo of both, a sweat dripping spin class or one of my fav’s the body sculpting class. This place will transform you. Since joining I have worked extensively with Rosie and have learned a lot along the way. I had also signed up for the 12 week challenge and the inches just fell off and the results I had desired started to become a reality. The quality of the workouts and the true genuine interest in her clients at an individual level is truly special. I never dreamed that at the age of 49 I could be in the best shape of my life. I have tons of energy and am feeling better than ever thanks to the guidance and support of this bad ass woman.

I joined Ironstone Fitness in January of 2016. I was getting married in July of 2016 and I wanted to lose weight, lose inches, and tone my body before my wedding.

I had always gone to a gym, but I was getting bored and felt that my body was use to the same old routine and I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. In April of 2016, 3 months before my wedding, I participated in the 6-week challenge.

At the end of the 6 weeks I lost 8 pounds and 10 inches off my entire body. I had increased energy and I felt confident and happy with myself. I also participated in the 12-week challenge, and also noticed major results.

Rosie and the other coaches at Ironstone Fitness are amazing! They are knowledgeable, positive, encouraging, and welcoming. Ironstone Fitness offers a variety of classes, such as Bootcamp, Kickboxing, Body Sculpting, and Spinning. All of the workouts are always different, and they target different muscles groups.

I would highly recommend Ironstone Fitness to Brides and Grooms to be, and to anyone that was wants to see major fitness results. It works, trust me! Ironstone Fitness has changed my life. I am so happy to be a part of the Ironstone Fitness family!

After completing the 12 week challenge I have lost 9.5 lbs and a total of 7 inches. During the challenge my main goals were to build lean muscle, loose 5 lbs and shrink the lower half of my body.

With the help of the Ironstone Fitness coaches I was able to accomplish and surpass all my goals. They provided a customized meal and exercise plan which was easy to follow and were there to constantly answer my questions.

My coach even provided extra at home workouts which were customized to help me meet my goals. The optional photo shoot at the end of the challenge was a great motivator to stay on track with the plan and ended up being a lot of fun.

My name is Nicholas Faria and I have just completed the Ironstone Fitness 12 week challenge.

This was a challenge of strength, endurance, determination and most of all commitment. On the surface it sounds intimidating, “12 weeks of training and a whole new diet? What am I getting myself into??” But when you put into perspective as to why you are challenging yourself, coupled with the motivational staff at Ironstone you realize that this is only the beginning.

My wife Karyn first did the challenge last year. I couldn’t help but notice here commitment and transformation. This year she challenged me and using her as my foundation of inspiration I obliged.

The preparation into the challenge by the staff at Ironstone was meticulous; it was evident that they truly were engulfed as to what your goals were whether it was weight loss, muscle/strength gain etc. It is important to know that this is not a generic challenge. Each challenge is tailored to the participant and that to me was very important.

The food plan to everyone would have to be the most intimidating aspect but it really should not. Again, Ironstone creates a menu specifically for you. In the beginning you submit a three day diary of your food intake. They take that log and formulate a healthy, clean menu that closely resembles what you once ate. I promise you this, you will NOT be hungry! This is not a informercial diet where you starve yourself for results — this is all about fueling your body properly so that you can kick up your metabolism and energize yourself for workouts.

There are a wide range of classes at the gym to better help you accomplish your goals. Bootcamps — you WILL sweat!, body sculpting (targeting one area of the body specifically over a four week period) — your muscles WILL be sore and that is good! And optional spin classes. All of these classes are constantly evolving and really are never the same which is perfect for whatever your goal is. We don’t want to get use to a routine, that wouldn’t challenge us and produce results. Have an injury? No problem the staff at Ironstone can altar your workout to fit your needs. I broke my toe last year and still feel the pain today. I made the staff aware and anytime I was uncomfortable with a workout they were quick to modify the exercise to accommodate the injury.

The Ironstone staff will become your family. No one in life motivates you like your family and that is exactly what this staff is. They encourage you, they are easy to talk to, listen to your concerns and are pretty much available twenty four seven if you have a question. They believe in you and want you to succeed so much that they will even give you home exercises, based on the equipment you have, to do if you can’t make it to the gym or just want to put in a little extra work (Oh and I did!)

My results speak for itself: in 12 weeks I lost nearly eleven pounds and four inches off my belly! I feel stronger, my muscles are getting bigger, my stamina has increased and overall I feel more invigorated. About the only thing this challenge didn’t do was grown more hair on my balding head!

So yeah, 12 weeks seems intimidating but if you remember the reasons you want to do this and believe in yourself even a fraction as the Ironstone staff believes in you, than I have confidence you will be able to:

I met Rosie several years ago when she was an instructor at another gym and while the program there wasn’t a good fit for me, I had absolutely loved taking her classes.

I continued to follow her on social media and was excited to learn that she had opened up her own fitness studio. I really liked the programs she was offering so in January 2017, I signed up for the 12 week challenge.

While I had always been active, I was struggling with my weight due to a monotonous gym routine, poor eating habits (not eating) as well as a thyroid issue. My weight had crept up to numbers I had never seen in my life. Couple that with the fact that I was getting married in June, I needed to get back in shape.

The 12 challenge forced me to eat regularly and the various classes offered at Ironstone kept things interesting as I tend to get bored easily of the same kind of workouts.

I lost 12 lbs and 12 inches on the challenge and from there, I decided to continue training with Rosie one-on-one where I worked specifically on toning my back and arms for my the Wedding. I lost a few more pounds and inches but more importantly, I am leaner, more toned and in much better shape. I surpassed my goal and am just thrilled with my results.
